Cousins

Madeline and I went over to my sister's house for a barbeque. Most of my family was there. Madeline had so much fun playing with her cousins. Kaitlyn took Madeline for a ride in her barbie jeep. They had fun riding around in the jeep. Those jeeps are high-tech. They have radios so the kids can listen to music. Crazy!

Trip to Utah

Maddy and I flew to Utah today. Andrew is leaving tomorrow to help his friend, Brent, drive to Conneticut in a moving truck. One of my cousins recently got four baby lambs and are keeping them at Grandma Ed's house in Mapleton. They are trying to teach their girls responsibility and they are taking care of the baby lambs for awhile. We went to visit the lambs and help feed them. They are so cute. Madeline wasn't too sure about the baby lambs. She was pretty afraid of them. Here are some pictures of the baby lambs.

Play Day

Madeline's friend, Breya, came over to play today. They are so cute together. Here is picture of them dressing up like cheerleaders. There is another picture of them playing with cookie cutters. They were pretending they were bracelets and would put on as many "bracelets" and they could.

Farewell Girls Night Out

Some of the girls went and got some dessert at Bennigan's before many of us started going our separate ways now that dental school is over. It will be hard to leave because we have gotten to know a lot of great people in Florida. We have had so much fun. We will miss everyone when we leave. Madeline is really, really going to miss Ashton and Chloe. They have been like brother and sister to her. We will be sad to see them move. Here are some pictures of them playing one last time before the Fairhurst family moves.

The Graduate!!

Andrew graduated from Dental School at Nova Southeastern University on May 25, 2008. The graduation was held at the Bank Atlantic Center. It was about 3 and 1/2 hours long because they had to go through all of the health professions (not just dental). The dean from each health profession hooded each of the graduates. We are so proud of Andrew for all his dedication and hard work through four tough years of dental school. What an awesome accomplishment!!

Graduation Banquet

Tonight was the Senior Awards Dinner Dance at the Westin Diplomat Resort and Spa in Hollywood. NSU sponsors it every year. There was a reception from 7:00-8:00pm for all of the Health Professions. At 8:00pm, each Health Profession went into a different banquet room for dinner, awards, music, and dancing. Half of the awards went to the same person and Jude got the same pedo award twice. That was pretty amusing. The dinner and music was great. We had a fun evening.

Farewell BBQ

Tonight we went to Royal Grand for a Farewell BBQ and swim party. There has been one every year to say goodbye to all the graduates. Andrew and I had so much fun swimming with Madeline. We are trying to let the air out of her floaties slowly so she can learn to swim on her own. She is afraid of going under the water all the way. But, she is getting better because we have been swimming a lot lately especially because it is getting so hot in Florida.

Fun in the Sand

Andrew, Madeline, and I are trying to go to the beach as much as possible before our time is up in Florida (which is coming soon). I buried Maddy with sand and she loved it. She kept wanting me to bury her. Maddy and I also tried making sand castles. It was a perfect beach day.

Happy Mother's Day!

I woke up today to Andrew and Madeline making me breakfast. We had eggs and sausage. Yummy! After breakfast, Madeline brought me some presents. She told me what they were as I was opening them because she helped her Daddy wrap them. I got a book, lotion, and a necklace/earring set. I am such a lucky mom to have such a wonderful husband and a sweet loving daughter!! Thanks for all you do! I love you!

Kacen's birthday party

Madeline went to Kacen's birthday party at Tree Tops Park. She had a lot of fun. All the kids got to go on pony rides. They had cake and juice and a pinata full of candy. What could be better that that?
