We woke up this beautiful Sunday morning and there was so much snow. Madeline loved it. I had a difficult time getting her to wear a coat and she didn't want to wear socks (she has her Sunday shoes on). But she didn't care. She just loved playing in the snow. She kept eating it. Here are some pics of all the snow:

The Reception
My sister wanted pink and orange for her colors and they actually went really well together. The reception was held at a church close to my parent's house. Katie wanted an ice cream bar at the reception, so there was ice cream and lots of toppings as well as brownies from BYU and chocolate dipped cookies from my Dad's cousin (they are the best). I had fun visiting with relatives and friends that I haven't seen in a long time.

The Wedding
Mark and Katie got married in the Mount Timpanogos temple today. I was only able to get one picture outside because it was so cold and windy outside, I thought I was going to freeze to death. They got one group shot and everyone ran to their cars. The wedding ceremony was so neat and I am so glad that I was able to be there.

After the wedding ceremony, we went to a luncheon in the Garden Room at Thanksgiving Point. These picture are taken in the Garden Room:All the girls.

Flower Girl
Madeline and I were out shopping with my Mom trying to get stuff for my sister's wedding. Madeline put on this cute hat and said, "Look at me, i'm a flower." I just happened to have my camera in my purse and took a picture. So here is a picture of the "flower girl." Maybe Madeline can be the "flower girl" for my sister's wedding.

Easter Sunday
We spent Easter in Utah. Andrew had to fly back to Florida because spring break is over and school is starting. Madeline got some books, a fishing game, a dress, and, of course, lots of candy. After church, she got to find all the eggs that were hidden in the front room.
I'm so grateful for the opportunity we have each year to think about the resurrection of our Savior, Jesus Christ. I hope all of you had a great Easter.

Easter Egg Hunt
My aunt started a tradition last year and has all of the great-grandchildren (on my Mom's side) come to her house for an easter egg hunt. It started out with my sister reading the kids an easter story. Then they were divided up into big, medium, and little kids (because there was different kinds of candy and toys according to age). The whistle blew and the kids were off trying to fill their basket with as much sugar as possible. It was fun watching the kids search for eggs. What a fun tradition (we didn't get to go last year).

Mt. Timpanogas Temple
My sister is getting married in less than one week and went through the temple today. All of the girls in my family have gone through the temple. What a great experience. Renting a car and driving from L.A. paid off so that I was able to see her sister go through the temple. After the temple, we went to Wallaby's (or whatever it is called now)to eat.

Pink Hair!
So my brother-in-law took my niece, Olivia, to get her hair cut from my sister. They decided to put some pink streaks in her hair. She is two years old! When her mom saw what happened to her hair, she was sure mad.
Las Vegas Baby!
We couldn't get a flight out of San Diego so we decided to try L.A. With the Easter weekend and Spring Break, all flights going to SLC were booked (plus they had cancelled flights from other airports so everything was booked). We needed to be to Utah by Saturday. I remembered that my sister and her family went to Disneyland for Spring Break and would be driving to Utah today. So as crazy and Andrew and I are, we rented a car and called my sister and met up with them to drive to Utah together (and we did it with three hours of sleep). We had a hard time even getting a rental car with Spring Break and Easter weekend (plus it was 6:00am). So as we were leaving L.A., I told Andrew that it would be fun to stop in Vegas and go to a buffet. About a half an hour later, my sister calls and says, "Hey, you guys want to stop in Vegas and go to a buffet?" And that is just what we did. We went to the Paris Hotel and ate at a buffet. Here are some pics of us eating at the Paris. What an unexpected and random experience.
